JUNE 23rd 2015 RAMOS 'RELAXED' OVER UNITED LINK

Manchester United target Sergio Ramos has been cornered by the Spanish media and asked about the rumours which are linking him with a move to United and Barcelona. Ramos has two years left on his contract and his future is the subject of frenzied speculation in his home country, with AS reporting today that United will offer €30m plus David De Gea to land the player. Ramos was spotted at the offices of his lawyer and was accosted by a reporter who asked if he was relaxed about the situation. "I'm always relaxed," he replied.

We bet he is. Ramos has one of the world's biggest clubs after him just as he seeks an improved contract from Real Madrid. He holds all the aces in this negotiation and will probably leverage the situation to get himself a big pay rise. That's not to say that United's interest isn't real, and a swap deal involving De Gea could happen, but the most likely scenario surely sees him collecting an even bigger wedge next season.
