Burna Boy busted down the doors to America's mainstream audience with his acclaimed African Giant project from July. The Afro-fusion artist looks to parlay his momentum with the cultural "Pull Up" visual on Wednesday (Aug. 21), a fan favorite off the loaded 19-track effort.
The clip expertly captures a vintage aesthetic with an array of vivid textures, as Burna rides around his neighorhood. Between the various shades of melanin, bright-colored cars and stylish clothing, the Nigerian artist serves up another authentic piece of his African soul to viewers across the globe.
“They just get me,” Burna Boy previously told Billboard of the sturdy bond with his fan base. “They get part of my soul. When they listen to my music, they basically get a part of my soul and just the realness. Part of the soul of Africa.”
