What a privilege to share the precious Word of God here in our beautiful town of Tsumeb . Tsumeb associated with mineral wealth . May the Holy Spirit uses the preaching of Scripture to the ( inexhaustible ) Word Treasures of Truth unlocked for everyone who will listen. That is how we pay the riches of God's grace as He saved us from free grace through faith in Jesus . To do get God alone the glory!
With the anniversary of the end of World War II the last time one was hit by the horrific insanity of it ... a maniac in the hands of Satan destroyed millions of lives and eternity late collapse ... There are so many frightening chapters of genocide, barbaric cruelty, suffering indescribable ... I again a bit around and read some facts for the first time caught my attention. Did you know of the barbaric murder by the Nazis at the French town of Oradour-sur-Glane (including women in children, living in a church burned) or we realize that 26 million Russians lost their lives? In turn, the Russians estimated in Berlin only a 100 000 women raped ... And what about the terrible toll on the Polish population of which 17% was wiped out. The Holocaust, the atomic bombs on Japan ... So could you incur. The words of Genesis 6:11 makes sense once again: "The earth was corrupt in God's sight, full of violence."
But where was God? God was there in the midst of human insanity and cruelty, sin and self-destruction. He was there through the good news of His Son and the saving applications in human lives. Even hardened NAZI's had for this greater power, the gospel power of God bow. (Romans 1: 16-17) Nico van der Walt is a such a story summed up his distinctive entertaining way.

Read it, it's a moving experience! It makes you realize yet again that the gospel still today is our only hope for a humanity which is still in force, rebellion and misery are captured. Let us remember that when we hear of the atrocities of ISIS, Boko Haram, ... but as you and I discovered the evils of our own hearts!
