Manchester United transfers: Robin van Persie offered HUGE deal by Qatari club Lekhwiya
The Holland striker is facing an uncertain future at Old Trafford with Louis van Gaal preparing a major overhaul of his attacking options this summer.
Lekhwiya are managed by former Swansea chief Michael Laudrup and they are ready to give RVP a three-year-deal worth £6m a year.
The prospect of starring in the Middle East could appeal to the 31-year-old if United decide to end his spell at Old Trafford.
Van Persie has one year left to run on his £220,000-a-week United deal and Turkish sides Fenerbahce and Galatasaray have expressed an interest in the striker.

Red Devils boss Van Gaal was asked if Van Persie has a future at United on Friday and responded by saying: "You'll have to wait and see."
Van Persie almost single handedly gifted United the Premier League title in Sir Alex Ferguson's swansong season at Old Trafford.
But it has been a different story for him since Fergie left and United have finished the last two seasons without a trophy.
