Abramovich to make Drogba call
Cape Town - Jose Mourinho has revealed that Didier Drogba's future will be decided by the club's owner and not the manager.
The Express report that Didier Drogba's future at Stamford Bridge is still uncertain.
Drogba scored the equaliser against Leicester City on Wednesday night before John Terry and Ramires guided the Blues to a 3-1 win and on the brink of bringing back the league title to Stamford Bridge.
The 37-year-old Ivory Coast striker is a club legend and Jose Mourinho confirmed that the club's owner would make the decision on whether the striker earns another contract as a player.
"I think, this is a club thing. " said Mourinho.
"This is a Mr Abramovich thing.
"Mr Abramovich wants him to do what he wants in the club but it's something Mr Abramovich has to tell him. He has to decide.
"But obviously he belongs to the history of this club."
Drogba is expected to move into the backroom staff at Chelsea when he finally calls time on his career.
